A Feature length remake of the 1968 black and white zombie masterpiece by George A. Romero. "Night of the Living Dead" is the cult classic that gave rise to all modern zombie films and television series.

This production features local talent from the Monaro region including many past and present actors from the Cooma Little Theatre.

This film is being presented as a mostly finished production.

HISTORY OF THE PROJECT

Back in 2011 a few mates, David Unwin, Scott Goudie and Brendan Bogatek got together to create a remake of George A Romero’s 1968 black and white film “Night of the Living Dead”.

 

Filming began in 2011 and continued on and off for a couple of years in locations including Gegedzerick Cemetery, Mt Gladstone, various residences in Cooma and Berridale and a set on stage at the Cooma Little Theatre.

 

In 2014 our Director David Unwin passed away and life commitments meant putting the film on hold. Now 5 years later Scott and Brendan are finishing the film to show it on Friday 13 September 2019.
